Privacy policy
No tracking pixels, no third-party fonts, nothing stored from the calculators – and what does arise.
This page is the English rendering of the legally binding German Datenschutzerklärung. In case of doubt, the German version applies. This website is built to process as little data as possible. It uses no tracking pixels, embeds no fonts and no videos from other people’s servers, and passes nothing to social networks. What does arise is set out here.

Visiting this website
When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary information to the server: the address requested, the date and time, the browser type transmitted and your IP address. This information appears in the web server’s log files. It serves the operation of the site and the defence against attacks, and it is not combined with other data. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
This website sets no cookies for recognition, audience measurement or advertising. A technical session cookie is set only when someone logs in to the editorial area – it does not arise for visitors to the public pages.
The calculators on this website
The tools – due date calculator, ovulation calculator, maternity passport appointments, weight gain, contraception comparison, screening planner, menopause score and the rest – process your entries solely for the answer shown on the same page.
Nothing is stored: no database row, no account, no cookie, no link to your person. The entries appear in the address bar so that you can bookmark a result or call it up again – which also means they appear in your browser history. If you would rather they did not, use a private window.
Details about your cycle, a pregnancy or symptoms are health data. That is precisely why they never touch any permanent storage here.
Map
On the directions page a map from OpenStreetMap is embedded. In the process your IP address is transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which delivers the map tiles. We deliberately decided against a map service that links visits into usage profiles. Privacy information: osmfoundation.org.
Getting in touch
If you write to us by email, your details are stored in order to deal with your enquiry and for any follow-up questions, and are deleted after six months at the latest, unless a statutory retention obligation applies. They are not passed on without your consent. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f).
Please do not send medical reports by email. Unencrypted email is not a suitable route for health data. Bring documents to your appointment or send them by post.
Treatment data
Data arising in the course of treatment are processed and retained in accordance with medical and social insurance law. The basis is Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR in conjunction with § 51 of the Austrian Medical Practitioners Act; the retention period for medical records in Austria is at least ten years. These data are held at the practice, not on this web server.
Processors
The web space and the database of this website are operated by an Austrian hosting company with which a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. No transfer to third countries takes place.
Your rights
You have the right of access to the data processed about you, and rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Any consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
If you consider that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien, www.dsb.gv.at.
Changes
This statement applies in the version published here. If the website is extended by functions that process further data, it will be adapted accordingly beforehand.
