The practice is at Große Schiffgasse 4, Stiege 1, Tür 4, in Vienna’s second district – in the Karmeliterviertel, a few minutes’ walk from Schottenring. Access is step-free and a large lift takes you up.

By public transport

  • Underground: U2 and U4, Schottenring station – take the U2 exit Herminengasse. About five minutes on foot from there.
  • Tram: lines 2 and D, Salztorbrücke stop.
  • Bus: 5A, Tandelmarktgasse stop; 2A, Salztorbrücke stop.

In this district public transport is clearly the easier option: the whole second district is a short-stay parking zone, and looking for a space reliably takes longer than the underground journey.

By car

There is parking in the underground car park at Karmelitermarkt, entrance via Krummbaumgasse. The rate is 3.90 euros per hour.

The neighbourhood

The Karmeliterviertel is a quarter worth staying in: the Karmelitermarkt is two minutes away, and pharmacies and coffee houses are within walking distance. If you have time after an appointment, the Donaukanal is five minutes away.
